About Us

kirkland, wa veterinary clinicFounded in 2006 by Dr. Judy Hung, Eastside Veterinary Associates started as a vision of a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital where people who love dogs and cats can meet together to provide and to receive the highest level of patient and customer care. While overseeing the building of the actual facility, Dr. Hung provided veterinary care in the home setting. Now, both the sophisticated equipment we have in the modern facility and the comfort that naturally comes with house calls have been merged into a unique veterinary practice, serving the pets and people on the Eastside of Seattle.

We opened our doors in October of 2008 and today Eastside Veterinary Associates is known as one of the finest veterinary hospitals throughout Washington state and the Northwest. In our first full year of being open, we had the honor of being named Best Vet by 425 Magazine, and again in 2010 by 425 Magazine and Seattle Magazine. In 2011, Dr. Hung was named as one of the Top Vets by Seattle Met Magazine.

The first key to our success is that we are a family owned veterinary hospital that seeks to treat our clients as friends and neighbors. We believe that your pet deserves the very best care, and will do everything possible to make that happen. For example, we block out two full hours of a doctor and technician’s time for each house call in order to serve those with multiple pets, mobility issues, or limited time. When pets are seen at our hospital, we plan ahead for your scheduled arrival by gathering previous history that can help us know your pet better.

The second key to our success is the level of care that our team provides to ensure the health and continued vitality of your pet. We invest heavily in our people with frequent attendance of continuing education seminars so that we can learn the latest advances in medicine. Our staff is made up of amazing individuals who put into practice their gifts in caring for animals and people. Together, we accomplish a level of medical care and attention that is rarely found in a private practice setting.

You will feel the difference in the typical 30-60 minutes of appointment time dedicated to you and your pet for the physical exam, treatment plan, and questions. We are focused on strictly medical, surgical, and dental cases so that there are no other distractions such as boarding or grooming. Our convenient location just off the 405 and handicap accessible parking lot makes it easy for you to bring your pets in. It is the little attention to details such as the thoughtfully placed heated floors, premium liver treats, and clean facilities that will keep your pets coming back for more!
